Black Diamond athlete Dylan Freed calls Salt Lake City, UT home, but spends a big chunk of the year working as a guide, chasing powder and trout in Alaska and New Zealand. Last winter, Dylan took advantage of a break in his seasonal migration to check out the skiing potential and local culture in the Caucasus Mountains of Azerbaijan. Phillip Baribeau of Implement Productions went along to capture the experience.
